I just noticed that the Sandbox on Notes.Net has finally been closed. I know it was announced a long time ago, but still... I think it's too bad that it's closed down, since there're still good examples in it for new developers. Since I replicated it from Notes.Net, I thought I'd put it up here at BananaHome.com, for anyone that'd like access to it. Even if I don't expect a big rush for it, I'm a bit concerned about the bandwidth to my server. It's located on my private ADSL broadband link. I'll just have to see how that goes.

The application is unchanged from when I replicated it, so it doesn't look exactly the same as it did when it was hosted on Notes.Net. None of IBM's supporting CSS, JavaScript or images is contained in it. I might change the look of it later, but for now, I'll just publish it as is. If anyone is interested, I have the unmodified nsf saved, so if anyone would like a copy of it, just let me know. It's a 1.8GB file uncompressed.

thanks for this peter. i'm going to make a torrent and get it seeding so it's out there for everyone to grab! i still can't believe ibm didn't keep the archive (read-only) version open. it's not like they don't have the capacity to.

I cannot lookup articles on the Sandbox link. I keep getting the page "Form Processed". Is there soomething wrong with the Sandbox site??

@10: I've seen this too. I haven't looked into it before. The DB hasn't been full text indexed, which I'm doing now. The Advanced search seems to work better. It doesn't find anything, but then the full text index isn't ready yet. I haven't had time to look into how the DB's built, and I don't want to go in and change it if I don't have to, so at least for now, it'll have to remain as is.

The database is missing CSS and JavaScript, that's part of IBM's site, so some problems can be because of that. Other problems might come from agents that aren't running on my server.

THanks for posting. I agree, there's still good code here that applies.

Don't understand IBM...very disappointed with them and how they've handled Lotus Notes altogether.
